Commentary
This response displays a developing understanding of the elements of film and makes an attempt to discuss the effectiveness of some relevant features. The response shows a developing understanding of the conventions of a film review, including personal recommendations and a star rating. However, ideas could be organised more effectively and cohesively and there is variable control of language. This work sample demonstrates the characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing within the 70–79 mark range.
