Tracy has demonstrated a very high level of competence in establishing and maintaining communication. She confidently uses intonation and a wide range of linguistic structures and vocabulary to respond to the dialogue. An appropriate register has been adopted and learnt language has been manipulated with a very high level of competence, demonstrating an extensive understanding of how the language works as a system and of the interdependence of languages and culture. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
