Robyn has demonstrated a basic understanding of World Heritage listing and a limited level of competence in identifying and gathering information about World Heritage sites. A brief report using some appropriate paragraphing, sequencing and terminology has been produced. A basic explanation of why World Heritage listing is important has been provided. There is little understanding of the differences between physical and cultural listings, and no examples have been used. The reasons suggested for listing the Sydney Opera House are limited. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
