Writing - Ariel : Grade Commentary
Ariel has demonstrated a high level of competence in creating a survey to design a camp menu. Learnt linguistic structures have been competently applied and appropriate language has been used but there is little variation in the choice of foods on offer. There are some inconsistencies in spelling and problems with capitalisation but the sentence structure is generally correct. A wider variety of food and drink items would show a stronger understanding of German-speaking cultures. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.
Grade B
The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
