Lesley has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of the importance of the Nile to Egyptians and the main features of life along the river. Information has been effectively communicated using a report structure and appropriate historical terminology. Wildlife and the importance of the Innundation have been well detailed but additional information on leisure activities would strengthen the response. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
