Lee has demonstrated a complete understanding of the spoken text but has not been able to match the answers with an accurate and complete lunch menu. Lee has recognised and produced most combinations of script but has relied on English for katakana vocabulary, suggesting katakana has not been studied. The writing section is mostly effective but incomplete. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
