Ali has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of quadrilaterals. The four diagrams are accurate but the bisected diagonals have not been indicated. The kite and trapezium have not been investigated. Correct conclusions have been drawn based on the quadrilaterals investigated but there is no explanation of how it was determined that the diagonals bisect, and the conclusion does not relate to the diagonals of kites and trapeziums. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 4.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
