Other Work Samples for:

Terry has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of statistical terms and a high level of competence in reading a stem-and-leaf plot. Most of the statistical measures have been correctly calculated, with a minor error in the mean, and the explanation of the processes involved shows a high level of competence. A reasonable attempt at comparing and analysing the two sets of data has been made but the explanation could be clearer. Terry has identified that there are outliers and has attempted to explain their effect on the results of the second test. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard at the end of Stage 4.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
