Jules has demonstrated a thorough knowledge and understanding of the design process. Factors influencing the design of the carrying device, including function, aesthetics and ergonomics, have been considered. Design ideas have been explored and independent research has been applied to the solutions. Further experimentation would enhance the overall design process but the sketches effectively communicate the design ideas. The evaluation has been comprehensively undertaken according to the identified criteria. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
