Other Work Samples for:

Pat has demonstrated an adequate awareness of the features of a recount. Ideas have been appropriately sequenced and past tense has been consistently used. Attempts have been made to use conjunctions to add information, and emotive language has been used to convey feelings. A picture has been used to support the ideas in the recount. There is good directionality and spacing between words. Letter formation is generally correct but there is some confusion in the use of the letters ‘b’ and ‘d’. A variety of strategies have been used to spell words, and copied text has been included. To develop further, Pat needs to elaborate on the event and work on letter formation and the correct use of punctuation, particularly full stops. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at the expected standard at the end of Kindergarten.
