Robyn has demonstrated a very high level of competence in developing questions to gather information about life in an Arabic-speaking country. Language has been manipulated creatively, confidently and authentically using a wide range of appropriate vocabulary, linguistic structures and features. The use of emotive expressions strengthens the tone of the text. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the culture of Arabic-speaking communities is evident. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
