Shannon has demonstrated the ability to select and research a range of websites. All criteria were addressed and presented in the appropriate format within the time allowed. Shannon has selected a wide range of retail internet sites appropriate to the task, but has communicated concepts in a very simplistic manner, with no evidence of detailed knowledge and understanding. He/she has interpreted basic commercial information and undertaken some decision-making but has not demonstrated the reasoning behind the recommendations. He/she has attempted to compare online prices with retail prices, but has failed to analyse information and evaluate the usefulness of various websites and the value of online shopping. Shannon has made some comparison based on price, as well as some limited analysis and evaluation, but the criteria for evaluation are not clear. Shannon has failed to identify payment systems, yet he/she has provided some identification of access to the site. Shannon has recognised any delivery fees but has made some reference to delivery method without showing any relationship to timelag. The recommendations are weak, with no evaluation of how the final decision has been reached. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.
