Popular Film Review - Ariel : Grade Commentary
Ariel has demonstrated a sound understanding of some of the conventions of a film review. A connection between popular culture and techniques in the film has been made, but the language used is sometimes not suitable for the audience, purpose or form. Sound knowledge of the film is evident, but opinions have not been presented effectively. Listing of detail without analysis weakens the viewpoints expressed and makes the review appear somewhat disjointed. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 5.
Grade C
The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
