Popular Film Review - Casey : Grade Commentary
Casey has demonstrated a limited level of competence in composing a film review. A simplistic recount of the film with little analysis has been provided. Filmic devices have been identified, but their effects have not been understood. A basic awareness of audience is evident but there is little control of form or purpose of the review. Little variety in the use of language is apparent and there is limited use of critical or persuasive language. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard midway through Stage 5.
