Other Work Samples for:

Lesley has responded to the requirements of the task as stimulus email but there is a lack of accuracy and elaboration. The lack of accuracy doesn't impede understanding of the initial message or of the response given, and Lesley has shown some understanding of ways in which languages work. The response does include appropriate information, but only uses simple sentences. The ideas progress logically even though there is no justification offered for stating that a top is not a good idea for a present. The sentences are simple and expressed in a limited way. Lesley selects information from written text but provides no analyses or summary, and no variation in linguistic structures. The answer would be improved by additional detail in the area of ideas and opinions - a little more creativity would probably add coherence. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
