Work Samples - Grade A

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade A.

At the end of Stage 5 for the School Certificate, student achievement is reported using the Course Performance Descriptors. Read more about School Certificate Grading.

Activity: Multimedia Specialised Module 4 - Skills Guide (View Activity…)

Students will prepare a two page 'Practical Skills Visual Guide' in the form of a handout that outlines specific tools and techniques for using Macromedia Flash.


Activity: Bracelet Design (View Activity…)

Students design a feature for a bracelet that includes a stone setting.


Activity: Timber Major Project (View Activity…)

Students plan, develop and construct a quality practical project in the Timber focus area.


Activity: Animation Activity (View Activity…)

Students create an interactive flash movie that shows four changing expressions on the face of an original cartoon character.


Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
