Jo has demonstrated a very high level of technical skill in designing a feature for a bracelet and selecting appropriate tools. Design principles are evident in the unique shape of the bracelet and placement of the stone. Advanced technical skills have been demonstrated in the symmetry of the motif, accuracy of the bezel and soldering of the bezel to the base. Jo has demonstrated extensive understanding of the properties of the materials used by creating a hollow bezel support to allow light to shine through the stone. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
