Work Samples - Grade C

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade C.

At the end of Stage 5 for the School Certificate, student achievement is reported using the Course Performance Descriptors. Read more about School Certificate Grading.

Activity: Designing a Database (View Activity…)

Students are presented with a scenario for which they design and produce a solution.


Activity: Digital Media Project (View Activity…)

Students develop a portfolio of original images that can be used in a design project.


Activity: Data Storage (View Activity…)

Students will study the given scenario for the use of a large database system in a doctor's surgery then decide on appropriate storage types and media for the different components and operations of the database.


Activity: Graphics Package Presentation (View Activity…)

Students will present their graphics which include a company logo, a location map, a website banner, link buttons and an animated graphic, to the class.


Grade C

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
