Work Samples - Grade D

The work samples for this grade, together, assist teachers to gain a common understanding of the standard of work typically produced by students whose performance, on balance, matches the description for Grade D.

At the end of Stage 5 for the School Certificate, student achievement is reported using the Course Performance Descriptors. Read more about School Certificate Grading.

Activity: Current and Emerging Technologies for Use in a Doctor's Surgery - Report (View Activity…)

Students prepare a report on current software and hardware that could be used in a typical doctor's surgery.


Activity: Designing a Database (View Activity…)

Students are presented with a scenario for which they design and produce a solution.


Activity: Doctor's Surgery Data Privacy Policy (View Activity…)

Students create a multimedia presentation and devise a data privacy policy for a doctor's surgery, considering morals, ethics, and data privacy policies.


Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
