Other Work Samples for:

Darcy has demonstrated a high level of competence in creating, continuing and describing number patterns. A variety of challenging, increasing number patterns have been created, all beginning between multiples of the number by which they count. The sequences are mostly correct and mathematical language has been used to describe the patterns. To develop further, Darcy could explore decreasing number patterns and use patterns with multiples of numbers other than 2, 5 and 10. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard midway through Stage 1.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
