Other Work Samples for:

Eden has demonstrated a limited level of competence in sorting, ordering and counting money. Some equivalent amounts have been demonstrated using coins of different denominations, but there is confusion evident in the proposed use of thirty- and forty-cent coins. Change from a dollar has been correctly calculated for one amount. An attempt to use diagrams and mathematical symbols to record solutions has been made, but there is some confusion. To improve, Eden could provide additional accurate examples of equivalent amounts and consolidate understanding of the subtraction process. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 1.
