Other Work Samples for:

Terry has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of Captain Cook’s life. The past has been reconstructed using factual information, and historical events have been sequenced and described but significant omissions have been made. Some topic-specific language has been used but there is no reference to what happens when Cook is given the ‘Endeavour’ or to the colonisation of Australia. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 2.

Grade D

The student has a basic knowledge and understanding of the content and has achieved a limited level of competence in the processes and skills.
