Ali has demonstrated a sound understanding of how to plan and conduct an investigation. An adequate procedure has been provided and the observations have been clearly recorded. The effectiveness of each filter material has been accurately ranked but there is no explanation of why some filter materials worked better than others. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard at the end of Stage 3.
